Version 8
The Christie® Pandoras Box® Software License re-defines real-time editing and playback control. This software allows synchronization and remote control of all Pandoras Box systems via network.
The built-in sequences with its cue and key-frame based timeline interface enables you to control Pandoras Box Servers as well as interfacing with all kinds of external controllers via TCP/IP, Serial RS-232/422, SMPTE, DMX, Art-Net, analog and digital industrial sensors. The Pandoras Box Software License acts as both a remote file manager and a master, synchronizing any connected client system with sub-frame accuracy for demanding applications.
An unlimited amount of video layers are available to be programmed and arranged quickly and easily. Countless Aeon easy-to-use dynamic effects as well as 8K playback turn the Software License into a powerful tool for creative projection and design. This software solution can be set up as a standalone playback device, network playback client or used in console mode for direct DMX Control. The scalable system, combining Christie Servers, or custom hardware along with a matching Software License always perfectly suits your specific needs.
Similar to standard compositing and non-linear editing software solutions, the project orientated user interface is quick and easy to learn. The Pandoras Box system offers a unique user interface that allows a fast configuration and programming workflow. Multiple users can collaborate to efficiently create a perfect show together. The interface is context-sensitive and optimized for live applications as well as for unmanaged, constantly running fixed installs.
The system is open for multiple input protocols and offers an easy and direct access to all controls. Individual view layouts allow you to arrange the interface according to your needs by creating new tabs and views that can be stored and recalled on the fly.
The Software License is a multi-purpose software solution, that can be used for projects in a large variety of markets including (but not limited to) the event, theater, broadcast, touring and/or installation sector.
